Artist Recommendations? Need Icon

Hi folks.

So Im working on my new project I need an Icon. Could anyone recommend any artists or illustrators that could make an excellent icon for my game? Paid or not, some recommendations would be great, thanks. I want this one to shine. :)

    If you don't know anyone who could make one some inspiration for what I could for the icon would be great!

    Here is the general idea of the game, its a puzzle game which involves the player to drag the little cursor on the screen across the the orange orbs to gain points, then as time progresses things will begin to hinder your progress, making it harder to score points, such as red orbs appearing. It is a high score game and has a timer. You ill see very soon. :)

    Any tips? The game has such simple graphics (which looks good) but it is hard to make an eye catching icon.

    Try a ball with an angry face on. maybe some other balls chasing him. And an eagle swooping down, with freakin lazar beams coming out of his eyes! Don't forget to add 10 pirates, and twice as many ninjas! Yeah! Maybe the ball is not a ball at all. Maybe its a 300ft amazonian woman, with a huge double headed axe. Liberally sprinkle explosions, and magical auras everywhere.

    mrfunkleberry! You have the right idea! But then again I wouldn't want to steal the perfect idea, hehe.

    The blue circle of the players cursor they drag to the orange orbs. The red ones you avoid as mentioned. The red bar on the left is a timer which of course slowly decreases.

    @MrFunkleBerry: I'm so going to ask you to design my next Icon! Only, can we somehow include boggle eye crabs in the design somewhere?

    nice little simple things with faces seem to pull in the downloads for sure

    I think its important to see what is new and noteworthy too because that tells you what catches apple!

    A dozen it is then. Maybe some of them can have a punk themed? If there's any room you could squeeze a firework display in and some power rangers fighting long haired dinosaurs.

    I replied, don't worry if your busy being successful, hehe; Unlike myself. :) But it would be much appreciated. Certainly given me some ideas at least, just a simple little icon. Helps a lot.
