How many rejections have you had in a row for one App?

I am curious how many rejections people usually go through on a typical app. Also, has anyone noticed if your resubmissions receive lesser and lesser priority? Or is that just my random experience?

I (thankfully) have never had a rejection on an App, or an update.

What are the reasons that you're getting rejected so much?

Only one rejection due to Titanium's Appcelerator using a standard C library with no namespace associated with it. Some of the objects/methods in the standard library had names that matched names of objects/methods used in the iPhone OS' private SDK area. Titanium remedied the issue by wrapping it in a namespace.

However, that same app also had a second reason for rejection in the same rejection letter. I had use what they thought was a trademarked name in the keyword list for the app. Even if it was trademarked, I think they should allow it in the keyword list if it makes sense (i.e. similar app or related content)...sort of like Google AdSense keyword buying. Oh well. Showed them the word was no longer trademarked and it was approved.

    Long story short: one once.

(Oh, crap. I just gave Apple an idea to make more money off the app developers: app keyword auction) Sorry y'all!!! ;-)

    Reject #1: Orientation issue
Reject #2: Purported crashes (with 3 useless crash logs and no explanation how to reproduce)

Tested for a good hour again, tweaked the graphics to make them a little better, and resubmitted again...the first two were quick, but so far its been 3 days 'in review'.

About the crashes: is there anything in the report about low memory?

Is it for the iPhone/Touch, or iPad?
How high is the RAM usage? 45-50MB will crash a 3G

Rejected again due to load screen orientation...i swear these guys are out to get me...i had all orientations supported. I resubmitted again, took a screen shot this time of the build process just so I know im not going crazy.

Anyway, this is for the iPad. I posted the dump here:

    http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=5657

    Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
    Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x00000000
    Crashed Thread: 0

Its a small application with just several rules and particle effects. I test exclusively on the iPad and I haven't had a crash before.

one rejection, on a one button sound board, that played the BBC eastenders drum beat...

failed due to being too simple...

Did'nt really care as the whole process, conception, creation, submission took an hour.

One day I might make a bigger version....but got carried away working on Quake Builder.
