Renewing Apple developer account

I've recently renewed my Apple Developer account, as my current one expires in a few days (1 year).

I have a couple of apps live that I will need to update soon and also a new app to submit soon.

So do I need to do anything with regards to my updated account (certificates and what not...), or does it all just happen automatically?

You can release updates to your existing apps as long as your current certificates are valid (or with renewed certificates). Your existing apps on the appstore should continue to exist there for another year now since you have renewed your dev. account. However, you need to renew your certificates manually even though you have renewed your dev. account with apple.

You will also need to accept all new Contracts and agreements in order to continue publishing. I just found out that if you do not renew, then all of your current apps will be taken off of the App store. Otherwise once you renew, you will just need to refresh your current certificates.
