How to add a blood bar on ship actor in given examle

How to add a blood bar on ship actor in given examle(Basic Shoot Em Up.gameproj)?
The ship actor should have a blood bar to indicate its alive like most shoot game.
So, i want to implement such behaivor but failed:
when ship actor collide with enemy/missle, the blood indicator will get smaller until 0, then destory ship actor and blood indicator actor.
Can you please help?
