Copy and Paste keeps crashing GameSalad

Hi there,
I'm just starting out on GameSalad (Windows version) and everytime I try and duplicate an actor in my scene the whole program crashes and demands to be closed.
I've tried every form of copying & pasting (including alt+click+drag) but they all end in crashing
Help please? :-(
