@sawkastee We've tested the tool on lots of different OS's and configurations - and no 'hangs' as you describe. Could you be a little more specific and/or supply the details of your machine - so we could possibly help you further.
...Edit
Any chance a mod could change the title of this thread from [coming] to [available] - thanks.

mac mini osx 10.8.3
just selected glow frags, fragments only, everything else default, chose a destination folder titled sparks in documents, click grab frames and it hangs, never generates.
Ahh - I understand now....
If you ONLY want the GLOW FRAGS - or any other 'light coloured' frags in your explosion - then you MUST SWITCH OFF the [Frame Culling] option (bottom left corner on the main controls panel).
The frame culling kicks in when the engine 'believes' there is insufficient / different data between the frames to capture. In the case of WHITE FRAGS the engine sees lots of little white flecks - but because there isn't enough hue change/variation it won't capture any frames - and thus may hang...
So, in your case TURN OFF [Frame Culling]
Also, turning off the Frame Culling option in a 'standard' explosion, will force the engine to capture even more frames and detail / but in our tests this led to lots of end phasing frames being captured.
Here's a video (from our site) demonstrating the Frame Culling technique:
Hope this makes sense...
Cheers
Wayne
That's awesome!
