Hi, GameSalad 0.8.5: My iPad game is rejected due to orientation issue. My current BOMB HERO HD only supports one landscape orientation, and I forgot to check advanced settings when I publish that game in GameSalad 0.8.5. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thank you for submitting BOMB HERO HD to the App Store. We've reviewed your application and determined that we cannot post this version of your iPad application to the App Store. Applications must adhere to the iPad Human Interface Guidelines as outlined in the iPhone Developer Program License Agreement section 3.3.7.
The iPad Human Interface Guidelines state that an iPad application should be able to run in all orientations. BOMB HERO HD is only supporting one variant of the landscape orientation. While we understand there are certain applications that need to run in the landscape orientation, it would be appropriate to support both variants of this orientation in your application.
Please note that supporting all four orientations, each with unique launch images, provides the best user experience and is recommended.
Please review the Aim to Support All Orientations section of the iPad's Human Interface Guideline here:

In order for your application to be reconsidered for the App Store, please resolve this issue and upload your new binary to iTunes Connect.

I wrote them back and told them my game could only support 2 different landscape modes, and not portrait.
They told me I only had one variant of portrait, and to resubmit, so I did, and they approved it
You can have apps in either landscape/landscape upside down OR portrait/portrait upside down, but you don't have to have it in all 4 modes
Make sure you check under scene attributes that both check boxes are checked for either landscape or portrait mode, and when you're publishing your game, that those checkboxes are checked as well
The only other thing I did was to flag the two portrait orientations inside the project for all my scenes. My app actually only works in either of the portrait modes.
*help* ~.~
1) Checked both portrait modes in the scene editor for each scene
2) when publishing your game, check both portrait modes when you click on "advance" so that way you've completed the process
3) Email Apple/ Reply to the email you received on getting rejected, and tell them your app only works in both portrait modes
That should clear things up
