Hi everyone! It's been a long time coming but I'm at the final stages of releasing my first game...

I would like to introduce to you... JET POINT

A jet propelled puzzle platformer for iPhone, presented under the new company name, YoRooster Studios.

Join the Action:
Gain access to the mysterious Humonix Corporation's testing network and take part in a series of dangerous experiments designed to put your reactions to the test.

Your Willing Subjects:
Take control of the corporation's genetically engineered clones called D.A.V.E's (Dynamic. Adult. Vector. Editions) and with the latest V-matter reactive rocket propelled jetpacks strapped to their backs help them avoid the many dangers looking to destroy them.

Please remember, clones are very expensive so try to avoid destroying too many!

Objective:
The enemies' weapons are powered by the reactor cores located throughout the levels. Find ways to destroy them all to allow your clone's safe passage to the next test.

The Humonix Guarantee:
"So you pointed your clones toward certain doom! Not to worry - here at Humonix we simply energise another clone straight back into the danger zone so the fun never stops. HUMONIX - POINTING THE WAY, IT'S WHAT WE DO!"

I had a good friend and talented musician help me with the music (not the demo video music, but the game music) and another good friend has helped me develop the website and social media setup and we would be all so grateful if you could help support us by giving us a like.

I've only got four words to say about this.............Game of the Month! <:-P

    It’s not a bug – it’s an undocumented feature

  • YoRoosterYoRooster Member Posts: 159
Wow thanks for the response guys! It's been hard work getting to this point but made so much easier through all the great videos and tutorials on this forums. FryingBaconStudios and tshirtbooth have been particularly helpful with their videos.

@cucurbit believe in it... it's an amazing tool for making games!

    @Donaldouk @Wboko @SnapFireStudios @TheGabfather @lycettebros that means a lot thanks!

@Fal01 that would be a dream come true. Just hope I can enter it this month. Still waiting on Apple to approve it :-SS

Looking snazzy! :D Best of luck with it!

Thanks @alimpo83 @Braydon_SFX. I got the Apple thumbs up this morning after being rejected first time due to GC leaderboard issues. They say High scores were not transferring but everything was working perfectly when tested in sandbox mode??? I appealed for them to give it another look as I've heard scores can take time to upload and do they realise that it's only low scores (representing quickest time) that are posted, not high scores as they describe. Then it was just accepted.... no feed back, just ready for sale. That's great and all but some confirmation it works as I describe would have been nice! :-??

    We finally have a date!

Due for release this Thursday May 30th.

I must admit it's been hard work researching and writing to people to try out the game. I can't feel my legs anymore through sitting at my desk for so long. I've definitely enjoyed the whole advertising aspect of it though. But I need to get back to what's really important, and that's to continue improving Jet Point ready for further updates.

I'll be posting some promo codes soon if anyone is interested. As always a Like on our Facebook page or a follow on Twitter would be a big help. I've found a few of you already on Facebook but if anyone else wants a Like I'd be happy to return the favour :D

I like the 3D graphics, was this really done with GameSalad?
  • teralabsteralabs Member Posts: 15
Wow looks like Teralabs has picked the right program for our project with quality like this. Great Work!
  • YoRoosterYoRooster Member Posts: 159
Thanks @LoungeGames you just made my day! Yes everything, even the scenes in the video was created using GameSalad. But it hasn't been easy! I've been working on this project for well over a year now. I assume you like the game's 3D effect? All graphics were created in Photoshop and I assure you it's 100% 2D.

@teralabs it's a great program for non-programmers and perfect for the games I want to create. However, just be sure to check it covers all the features you want to include in your games. More features are on the way, but they're not here yet!
