Windows Creator unable to launch...

Hi,

I haven't used Gamesalad in a long time, and i just reinstalled it.
But i get this error when starting it up.
Any ideas?

    Never gotten that error before. Are you using the latest version of Creator? Try uninstalling and re-installing, for starters.

    I already tried to uninstall and reinstall twice, but it still gives me the error

    Have you tried downloading a new copy of the installer? (Just to rule out the possibility of a corrupt past download)

    If you have access to a different machine, try using that instead :) not a very good solution (if it can even be called a solution). I have a feeling it's your computer/setup that's causing it because we've been using the Windows version of Creator on multiple types of rigs (desktops and laptops) and have never encountered any errors.

    Leave your computer details here too for others to see - someone else might be able to help :) and maybe you can also send in a Report for good measure.

    I do have a new computer since the last time i used GameSalad.
    And yes i did try a new installer.


    Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
    AMD FX8350 4.00 GHz
    ASRock 990FX Extreme3
    Corsair 8GB RAM
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 660

    @NettekovenGames @-) Nice specs dude! I don't see anything wrong there except using AMD instead of Intel. :P

    I updated everything but unfortunatly it didn't fix it.
    I'm going to install Windows 8 now to see if it works... :(

    So i just installed Windows 8 and now i don't get any errors but there just happens nothing when i click GameSalad, the cursor does the loading animation for 1 second and then does nothing...

    I have the same problem.

    I'm new to gamesalad, downloaded it about half an hour ago, i got the same problem at first run. I uninstaled it, downloaded the android sdk, and installed gamesalad again, still the same problem.

    I also have AMD, and Nvidia card. Could that be?

    Here full specs:
    Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Procesor 5200+ 2.60 GHz
    3GB RAM
    NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE

    I have the same problem and after a week trying to get a solution from support they only told me that can´t solve it. GS looks like a good software but i think for windows they aren´t putting the same effort.

    I also have a hard time opening the creator on my laptop at work or at least at first :o

    What i have to do and this is the only way it open on my laptop is right click the icon on the desktop and click run as administrator.

    It opens 100% when i do that and 0% when i open it any other way. I hope someone sees this and help them open the creator on windows :)
