Screenshots for the Final step, do you fake them?

I'm curious about how other developers are going about this. At the final stage of setting up your app in Itunes Connect, the portal asks for screenshots from 3.5" and 4" retina devices, as well as iPad. What are you planning on providing or what have you provided in the past?

I don't have those devices, and the the GS viewer doesn't accurately show the result of letterboxing in the screenshots or have setting for 4" retina. My options are to fake the screenies, purchase those devices... or what?

Alternate question, has anyone figured out how to get the iOS Simulator to run your .apps?

Thanks :)

I took screenshots with gamesalad and scaled them up in PS.
They don't get as good as they would have been if i could printscreen on the devices, but few people will notice it :)

I usally fake them, putting together the exact elements in Photoshop. This gives you the best results. I have also done some screenshots from Gamesalad Viewer running the Kindle or Nook screen size I think. Gives you a pretty decent picture to scale in photoshop. :)
