Windows - Touch Events not working

I have a game salad project that was given to me by a friend who originally worked on it on a Mac. When playing the game however, I can't trigger any of the touch events (which, considering it is an iPhone app, means that the game hardly functions at all.
This might just be the noob in me speaking but how do you activate touch events in the Windows version? I assume they would be mouse clicks, but I appear to be wrong. I haven't dealt with touch events on the Windows side yet so this is an dilemma that I'm facing and I have no idea what to do.
