Can you opt to sell your Gamesalad Game as well as Can you post on forums to sell game?

Hi there everyone,

Is it against any rules or terms to sell your completed Gamesalad game and everything attached with it? If so our there rules that state to keep of the forums with such things.

Can you post on the forums that you are selling your set of games and if anyone is interested they can contact you outside of the forums

    As stated as long as you own the rights you can sell off the game. If you don't own the rights to something like the music, just pull it out prior to selling.

    The challenging part is finding a place to sell, use to be able to list games for sale here but you can't anymore.

    Can you say somethig such as "Such and such will be offering to sell of a few of there games if interested please contact XXXXXXX@XXX.com? Or is it completely off limits? If so any recommendations on sale area's? Know there seems to be sales on apptopia and such.

    You all forgot the most important one.
    Please don't just buy a template and resell it without making modifications to at least re-skin it.

    Very very true. All the games created by Synlight Development come completely from Synlight Development. From our in-house artist doing the art, to our developers creating the game. We believe in doing this from the bottom up, not taking shortcuts. It facilitates the quality of the game and the ability to understand step by step the process as well as future of dealing with any potential changes.

    Well, if you're doing a very complicated game that has a template, why not save time (and in your case, as you sound like a company, money), and buy the template? I mean, the template is under $100 usually, and it can potentially save a ton of time/money. On top of that, you should analyze and learn how the template works, so you can deal with future changes. :)

    Sorry mabye im not phrasing things right. We dont need the use of any templates seeing as we have our artist, and developers create from scratch. We have a few games of which are fully complete and we own the complete rights too. We would like to sell the completed games as opposed to releasing them. My question then becomes can we do such things on the forums?

    No, you cannot do that on the forums directly. You need to submit your template to the GameSalad Marketplace to be reviewed. If approved, they will put it up on the marketplace for others to buy, but you cannot post that you are selling your games on the main forums, as this is against the forum rules.

    This will give you the information you need to sell your template on the Marketplace.

    Also wanted to note that you can sell at other marketplaces- http://deepblueapps.com, http://gshelper.com, http://thatdevelopermarketplace.com to name a few! :)
