    I would contact them for a refund, also to google play is really bad. My last game I submitted I didn't even see a place to put in keywords, either I over looked it or they removed keywords. But either way I've never like google play. Try amazon and nook store. There free to publish

    Google Play does not use keywords like everyone else. They use the title + your description. You can think of your Google Play description as a "4000 word keyword reservoir".

    @Chakku yes

    nook takes about a week to get approved as a developer, with about a 5 day turn around to approve a app.

    Amazon is instant to be a developer and has about a 3 day turn around to approve a app.

    Also nook does it a bit different to approve a app, you submit the metadata and once they approve that then you submit your binary. Which is different than other markets.

    but, where are the most sales?

    Not bad on nook, not good on amazon. But that's just me may not apply to all.

    I am waiting for developer approval, i hope i will have no problem there. What is strange to me is that, since all these services are available in Greece, and we live in a global economy system, why i can't sell my products there?

    people pirating my game. I had a google alert setup on the name of the game, and a day after I uploaded it i was getting emails with links to the apk on tons of filesharing sites.

    Does anyone make money on google play? Besides Disney and Rovio

    @Ebreeze
    Google Play is the worst app store for me. Most of my apps perform way better on the other ones. It seems like everyone(non-dev) I speak to that uses Google Play only downloads free apps. I'm not writing it off completely yet though.

    Google Play is just another place for people to get to know your apps/games. Make them good and market them well and people will buy from you. Don't discount Google Play Store just yet. Don't restrict your apps to any particular store. More and more people are going to have smart phones and the trend is still going strong. And the way I see it, android is leading the way.

    Yeah too early to ditch Play. I'd like to, for all the above reasons but it still could improve with some love from Google (overstretched?). I publish to it only to really protect my 'brands'.

    Google removed 50000 apps from the play store yesterday! Now the only part to be solved is piracy.

    Totally agree. If you want to get your app more exposure, one way is putting it on as many distributing channels as you can. And It's certainly not the time to give up googleplay now because most of the android users will choose play to download their apps. As for the piracy problem, maybe you can keep updating your game more frequently, just make it harder to be copied, or just contact the thieves to remove it. Still many gamemakers won't mind piracy as their free apps on play still earn money through in app purchase or running ads as it's easier for them to gain more users on play.

    On a side note I am on google play a lot as it gives me a rough idea on how many installs a game that has similar features does. Also it's alot easier to find apps similar and read reviews compared to app store.

    Yes, updating your game frequently will thwart the pirates' bad ways haha. That has been my experience so far anyway.

    Don't be discouraged by pirates. People who pirate your games and those who download them are normally those who have no intention whatsoever to buy them anyway. Consider them as free marketing tool if you will. From my experience, people who do buy games are those who really cannot get enough of the games from the trial version and they really want to have the full version to play to their heart's content. And most of these people are usually those who are not technologically savvy to seek out these pirated copies or who just don't want to bother themselves to do that or that they just want to support their favorite developers.
