Installing iOS Viewer on iPad (after latest GS 10.2 update)

jackhammerjackhammer Member Posts: 20
Since installing the GS 10.2 update my iPad does not appear as a device in Xcode when I am trying to install the iOS Viewer. My iPhone works fine. I have checked my provisioning profile and my iPad is still listed there and I can see it in iTunes. I am using the latest version of Xcode (4.5) and have the latest iOS (6.1.3) on my iPad.

Can anyone help?

Is it not coming up at all or is it not recognizing it as a developer iPad?

Did you make sure the iPad is still "enabled for development"?

I've had issues where sometimes it gets turned off.

If it is showing up then make sure to follow @ShmirlyWhirl 's advice. The worst case sernario is you having to reinstall XCode, but before you do that go into prefences and download all of the updates. Sometimes there are device detecting updates. :)

Thanks guys. It turned out I didn't (I was sure I did) have the most up to date version of Xcode - I updated and everything was fine. :x

@jackhammer Good to know! Enjoy the viewer! (Although I prefer Ad Hoc ;) )
