What happened to my .apk?

I am trying to sign my unsigned .apk for publishing. But everytime I do sign it, and save it. Gamesalad only gives me shortcuts for a .apk that doesnt exist. I get 3 1kb shortcuts for my game that leads nowhere. What I want is the actual 1.7mb game that GS said is signed and gave me shortcuts for. I have searched all I my drives and all I get in return are the shortcuts.

No errors pop up. GS allows me to click sign (wouldnt that indicate the keytool.exe, jarsigner.exe, and zipalign.exe are good?) and where I want to save, but i never get an actual .apk.

I hope someone has a solution.

I know doing this on my Mac it returns the signed and unsigned files right to my desktop. I'm pretty sure you can choose the location where these files will go after signing. Also yes if your able to sign then it your .exe files should be good. It wouldn't let you continue otherwise. Are you using Mac or windows?

I do choose where I want the saved files to go. First is ask which file do I want to sign, then where do I want to put the signed file. Easy choice is the desktop. But it never actually gives me a signed copy of the file. The unsigned copy remains where it is, but I do get 3 new shortcuts to the signed copy of my file. The problem is these shortcuts do not lead to anything. And searching the drives will only give me results for the shortcuts that were created. I also checked the search options/folder options to make sure I wasent just searching for the shorcuts like a goof also.

I think the problem is something is preventing gamesalad from producing the actual file even though it is being allowed to attempt the process. Which I can't guess at because it gives me no errors. After clicking the save location it runs and just goes back to the creator.

    win 7 64bit
    jdk v6u43
    GSC v0.10.00

You might want to open a support ticket then. I'm not familar with the windows creator. It might be slightly different then the Mac

I solved my own problem. Something with the key created by a jdk7 version but was using the keytool.exe and jarsigner.exe from the jdk 6u43 version. Hard to keep track sometimes.
