I want to thank Game Salad and everyone on the forum for answering my noob questions. I started using GS on Jan 1st, 2013 and tonight I published my first game on Google Play! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.swansongames.this
Red The Music Reader helps players learn to read music in a fun way! Use piano keys to help Red navigate the musical staff in an action packed adventure!
This game does not teach players everything about music, but it does help strengthen core components of site reading. Each level in the game teaches a different key signature. The background music for each level is written in the key the player is learning. The adventure takes place in colorful environments featuring five different genres of music.
• You don't need any knowledge of music to play. You will learn along the way while having fun!
• Beginners memorize note positions without thinking about it. And they immediately start to recognize common musical intervals.
• Experienced musicians will strengthen sight reading skills.
• Note letters appear on the staff and piano keys for beginners, but can be turned off for more advanced students.
• Players won't get bored memorizing specific melodies because each level is generated randomly. You can play over and over to strengthen sight reading skills.
• This is the perfect app for piano teachers and students!
• Built specifically for tablets.
