Help, the iOS (universal) app generated by gamesalad publishing is faulty?

The .app file created by gamesalad publish for iOS (universal), contains the gamesalad gameproject, a whole bunch of files that do not belong in my app, and no xCode compatible file. I am trying to test it through Xcode...

"You can't open the application because it is not supported on this type of mac" is what I get when I double click it. xCode doesn't open it...

You can't open with Xcode. Not sure why you think you can? At least I've never heard of anyone opening GS app in Xcode.

So how do people test it on their device other than with GameSalad viewer?

Never mind, I see now adhoc testing is the way and indeed I thought I would have an xcode project ala gamesalad viewer to play with.
