@lycettebros - I litterally tried for 20 minutes to leave you a review lol. For some reason, on my computer and phone, when I hit Submit/Send it acts like it did but doesn't show up.
Hopefully I didn't spam you with 5 stars and they're just hidden from me
If you could already tell, I really enjoyed the game Best of luck with sales, - Thomas
@Chakku - Er.. I meant what is their purpose? - Thomas
@SnapFireStudios Oh sorry- misread you're question :P Those ads are sometimes there in the place of iAds, I think he did a random 50/50 chance of the game displaying iAds or his ads, or maybe a timer- though I'm not sure about this.
@Chakku - That's what I thought, but it seemed a bit wide. This is a mainly iPhone app right? Not iPad?
Not wide for iPhone5. They are designed to work for both iPhone4 and iPhone5 screen size. When cropped on iPhone4 the important stuff still remains visible.
@lycettebros To be honest, I only saw those from the corner of my eye, until I played the game on my Kindle rather than iPhone, and wondered how you got ads there. Then I realized they were local ads...I think you should mention that they're your own apps- it will definitely get people to at least look at them, rather than ignore them and see them as obtrusive ads.
If you're having trouble understanding what I'm saying, take aloof below-
Pretend the gray bar is your ad, and you can adjust the side of the popup- just let the user know it's your own games
@SnapFireStudios Yeah, thanks. I think as a player I'd like to know that the ads are for the (indie) dev's own games, and if I liked the games, I'd be a lot more keen on clicking the local ads as I'm assured of their quality
