Differences between windows and mac versions?

Hello,

I am new to GS and am currently following a few tutorials online to learn hands on. The tutorials that interest me are for mac so many elements are different, some I can find, many I can't. Currently I am trying to find an attribute not equals to (=with a slash through it) 0. (within a rule). The sign appears this way (!=) in the windows version. Any clues on how to work around this or is this a windows beta issue? I am following tshirtbooth's boggle tutorialy part 3, the very end.

Thank you in advance,
kevin

It's not entirely clear what your issue is ? What is it you want to work around ?

I want to drag an attribute command into a rule then have that attribute become a game attribute (not = to ) 0.

≠ is represented as != within the windows version of gs, but it is not registering as the same function as the mac version, via me following and copying a tutorial.

I think I made a mistake posting in the middle of the night, last night. I am new to game salad so i am unaware of all the tricks for the forum, and of course gs itself. I am posting a comment in an attempt to revitalize my comment. Hope it works =)

I can't help because I'm in the same boat. But if you do stumble upon any really great tutorials for Windows, please let me know :) I'm using the manual that I downloaded from the cookbook... it's written for Windows, but it's a little out of date. You're braver than me, though, venturing into the Mac tutorial world!

I'm just trying to learn as much as possible and since windows is still in beta I'm not sure where to look. But yeah of course ill share the wealth and i'll check out that manual to see if i can find the tricks I need.
