Hi everyone,
I'm a non-programmer and new to GameSalad, and what's more I'm not using a Mac at the moment. Hence, I would need some help customising the GameSalad templates for iOS if I decide to purchase them here or other sites (e.g. gshelper.com). Does anyone know of good but affordable GameSalad designers/developers here who can help ? (e.g. I understand that tshirtbooth is 1 of them ?)
I know I can use the Android platform instead, but I prefer iOS because of the ability to include in-app purchases for my customised apps.
Thanks guys !
Regards,
John

Try using a free template and using some open-free art to get used to the development before doing any purchases. Study those free templates and see how the developer got the actors to work. You can then replicate those into your build. If you don't understand something then you can go to a developer with a greater knowledge of the logic used in GS and not be lost when they explain something.
Hate to see someone get into the development and then find out something isn't possible or won't turn out the way they envisioned it, then get turned off.
What I have done is used place holder art for characters. Developed the actor rules and game play, then added graphics at the end. The best graphics in the world don't matter if the play (user experience) doesn't hold up.
Best of luck on your build.
