Google Play Individual license keys

Hi All,

License keys are now managed for each application individually on Google Play. Will this feature be supported by Game Salad in the future or is it currently supported ? If it is supported where can I find details on how to set it up.

Noticed this too. Figured I would bump this thread. How can we go about publishing on Google Play now?

I think you can just ignore using the key they provide. I uploaded my APK and its now been published and I can't see any issues so far...

The Copy Protection feature is being deprecated by Google on Feb 27. If you don't license your apps any user who downloads your app can share it with other users for free. There will be no issues uploading apps it just won't be protected ... Google is standardizing on two primary tools for helping developers protect against unauthorized copying: app encryption in Jelly Bean and the Licensing Service for all platforms. This is what I read today when I logged in to the developer console.

I'm sure if google is switching over to individual keys on thier end GameSalad will update to adjust for that.

Has anyone got an update on this one ??? I think I will just have to publish my Android apps with no copy protection ;-(

Theres seem to be very little info on the forums about this issue. Can anyone point me to any relevant info thats out there on this?

Old thread, theres no issue. You just need to create your own licensing agreement if you are worried about your app being passed on free
