ok thanks. And the colorscheme link. Is that saying if "this" is your main color. That these others work with it? I wonder if Sprite attacker or any other graphics person here can throw us a bone on color choosing/color matching. Maybe Ill make a thread about that. get some pointers and info.
@jeffnichols it is demon's run. Figure it's the run of the demons or the demon's area. If it were "demons run" than it would mean that demons do in fact run. By making it, "demon's" it is essentially a space owned or associated with demons.

I like the one on the left. For me an improvement on the earlier ship. Try a version with out gradients. Just solid colors and the white outlines. If you're going for a cutout looks the flat colors might look better.
Personally I'd like to see some shading or something that makes the graphics look a little less flat. I'm not sure what art style you're going for, but I think it would look more dynamic with just a little shading. You've got a good base, now maybe add a little something more to it, to make it pop a little more.
OK now back to the 3d shaded ship n the left in the first attempt. So Now I stick to that type or art. Buildng my other stuff in the same manner. Use the right colors. And now I have a art theme working.
The first attempt version is much better. Didnt see that before. Has shading. More depth. One on left is better unless you like your hero driving backwards
Hey Socks..... Im getting much better since I started playing with inkscape and doing sprites tuts. Here is my latest ship. I showed it to Sprite and he showed me how to make it better.
@finnbogg you're improving!!!! Nice job! The only thing i would add is some kind of shader to it. Something that gives it a tiny hint of depth. A good way to learn how to do this (if you don't know how) is to study objects with one light source pointed at it. Study what happens when light hits one side vs the other side. How colors become darker when farther away from light. How crevaces paint shadows from the opposite direction of light. Etc. But overall huge improvement

Click on a scheme - triad, tetrad, analogic . . . etc
Drag the dark spot on the colour wheel around to see the complimentary colours.

Inconsistent capitalisation, 'NAV-THRUSTERS' is all capitals while 'Shield Modulater' [sic] is upper and lower case.
See now here Im thinking the bullets should be green. Red just doesnt seem correct.
