★★★★★--- Zombie Pursue update With trailer ---★★★★★

Before we start this game is about 40% complete....

so some of you may have seen when i first posted a very short clip of this, I've been working on it for quite a while now so i decided to make this trailer to see what you all think of what I've done with gamesalad so far!




the game does run really really smooth compared to the video.

    Nice work! Little suggestion- ditch the opening few seconds about who you are and that youre an indie developer. Its not necessary. I think it will make your trailer stronger. Just a suggestion :)

    This looks great! I love the game play! I think it the art were just a bit more cohesive it would really stand out from other endless runners!

    @deadlyseriousmedia well every bit of feedback helps! thanks buddy i think im going to change alot of the art to be more comic book style or perhaps brighter colours.

    I think a comic book style works very well in a game like this! Can't wait to see more of this as it reaches the end of the development cycle. :)

    @deadlyseriousmedia at the moment I'm just stuck for ideas on what objects can appear in-front of the pivot at moment i'm only shooting backwards and top left i was thinking maybe obstacles that you have to shoot or rolling barrels and they blow up? or jump over them....

    You could do rolling or stationary explosive barrels. You could shoot then to avoid them or jump over them and shoot them behind you to blow up zombies! :)

    think I'm gonna try this if you already saw in the video i have zombies that are on fire already which i can work around to fit with barrels.

    I like it but I would try to make the zombies face stand out, maybe brightened up, a bit. Also, I always try to make my icon representative of my game graphics. I would maybe try to align the art styles a bit more.

    your game is really cool, too many things all at the same time,
    however, it is great the icon is really nice :)

    Looks good, couple of things I would look at ...

    When shooting the zombies, maybe add some blood from them.

    When you kill them, have them fall to the floor and slide off as if you've ran away leaving their bodies behind.

    Its unusual to have your game running the other way, what was the decision of this? Every endless type game I have seen has the character running to the right, this is what we are used to and portrays subconsciously success ... Just a thought, maybe as the obstacles (zombies) come from the right and you are running away, this is why?

    Anyway, just my 2 cents for what its worth :)

    @beefy_clyro you are absolutely right i had feather effects fly from the birds when shot also a blood splat but i had a problem with a lag issue when they was shot the game stopped for like half a second was annoying i spent hours trying to figure a way around it must of been a particle lag problem the game was planned to run right but i thought i would have a change to different games although some people may find it strange you can easily adjust to it.

    thanks for the advice :), there is loads more to go into this and alot of changes yet to be made.

    Great stuff, I'd say it was pretty much perfect, translates to smaller size well.
