First off, congrats on creating an app! You've accomplished what many people only wish they could do. Hopefully this experience will make you eager to keep making games!

Now, regarding Prismix. I love the name, and your icon. I can appreciate the overall simplicity of it, however, when I played, I felt like I was just randomly tapping my thumbs on the screen with no sense of strategy behind it. I wasn't sure if the dark green spots had to be a certain size for it to register as a hit or not, so I just rapidly tapped away blindly, hoping for a hit. Maybe if there was a penalty for hitting the wrong color, it would give me more incentive to be more accurate with my finger. My highest score so far is only 32. Honestly, after 5 or so tries, I'm not sure if it's something I would want to keep playing again and again.

Again, congrats on your first game!

I have to agree with @kangavark the game feels focus-less. Meaning that the objective feels more luck based (via tapping anywhere constantly) instead of strategy based. Perhaps add a feature where the color you need to tap changes on the fly. This will keep you on your toes and promote reflexes, etc. The overall design is nice and clean in presentation, but when it comes to the actual game, it needs more work in my opinion.

Awesome work! You've hit a great milestone in your path to becoming a good game designer. Feels nice to have something in the App Store.

I would like to see even the simplest form of some UI in the game. Once I go into game, I can never go back to the main menu to see the instructions. It's important to have a UI overlay at all times. I'm really surprised Apple let this one slide.

Please start the game out easy and let us learn how to play, not just told.

I would really discourage you from charging for this game. It's a great concept, just need some updates and more love.

Thanks for the input! My goal for this app was mainly to learn how to submit to the app store, but I feel like it is a good first step for a 15 year old.

@pnmelville It's awesome that you have the ambition at 15 years old to make games, you're going to have a great future! Nice work.

for your next update, pick up the angry birds game and study all their menu items and UX (User Experience) flow. What do they allow you to do/go throughout the game? Any an every game should have a mapped out UX flow that is simple and easy to use. Creating a great UX is a game in it'self. You will find that the UX is mostly where 35-40% of your ratings and reviews come from. If the UX isn't great, people can't focus on the gameplay and appreciate it for what it is.

All of this advise is awesome! I will definitely study up on the UX in games. Unfortunately my winter break is almost over and high school will cut into my app development time, but I have a few other games on the way that are almost done.
