Nice game- I think the font looks really bad, and stands out. I'm envisioning a crinkly paper font. Just IMHO, but that plain black text doesen't look too good.
Otherwise, game looks nice and high quality.

The thing is that everything else looks really good; that's what makes it stand out so bad.
As for suggestions, how about something similar to this (in a dark color, slightly darker than your clouds)-
