Think I have seen a tutorial on this around the forums somewhere, but can't find it. Could be something from GSHelper. Spinning text, fade in text all those nice stuff
Any ideas where I might find it?

There is a tutorial here about some full screen effects in Gamesalad. They are not text specifically but you might find them useful.
