Is Gamesalad the right software for me?

so im completing new to gamesalad and game development but currently a friend and I are in the makings of new fitness concept of training. all is running smoothly and i want to create a fitness style social-networking app where me as a developer can post workouts and training concepts and advice and users can have profiles and comment on these with there own input.. i was wondering if something like this would be possible with gamesalad and if not what software should i use?

Nope, not possible with GameSalad currently. You will, however, probably be able to achieve those user comments and training posts with tricks when the upcoming new engine comes with "Asynchronous Multiplayer", but we don't know if it's possible without seeing the new engine.
If you need it now, go to www.coronasdk.com with that, you can potentially do anything, without any limits. Although I like GameSalad better, and if you have the time, I would wait and see if it's possible with the new engine before moving on. Note that you need to by GameSalad PRO ($299 per year), to utilize most of the features from the new engine release, including Asynchronous Multiplayer.
