Help with a set of vectors

Hey

I feel like this is a very doltish question, so i'm kinda ashamed to even ask, but here goes..

I recently downloaded a set of vector buttons and they are all on the same page. How would I go about isolating 1 of these buttons to put in my project?

I'm very new to graphics (obviously) and am using Inkscape/Gimp as graphic programs.

I'd appreciate any help :-)

    @knedy

    I think that when you open up the whole image in Inkscape you can "mark" eg a button and export the marked area as a PNG file.

    Hope that solves your problem.

    Not a stupid question at all... Like @Dues said, open it in Inkscape, choose the selection tool in the top left of the tool bar and select the button you want to export by clicking and dragging (inkscape creates a selection box). If the buttons are grouped, ungroup them first of inkscape will still select the whole group.
    Once you have a button selected go to file/ export bitmap and click on the 'selection' tap and save as a PNG file.

    I would export to 2x or more and use gimp to scale the pngs to the proper ingame size (and adjust the dpi to 72 - if needed).
