Playing your own game after release

When your game is finished, how do you play the game yourself? You can't buy your own app can you? I know you could still use ad-hoc certificate to put it on your phone, but what about GameCenter? It would still show Sandbox mode?

I'd put the price up just prior to buying the game, make it something like $400, then buy it, then put it back to it's normal price - it's a quick way of making some money.
