Hi,
I'd like to show you a preview of Bunny Balls for iPad.
It is based on an ye old game. The goal is to get all the veggies. You have to let the bunnies jump with the seesaw.
Everything works perfect and all artwork is done. Now I have to build levels.
I am not so sure how I will do this. Do you have any suggestions? Start with a few veggies and slowly let their be more?
I also have a few power ups like a high jump and a bigger seesaw.

Please let me know what you think.

Cheers,
Ludwig

Don't want to make it look bad but people can easily remove those stripes using a program like photoshop.

Bunny all is going for some testing in Ad Hoc now. I found a small list of bugs and improvements.

Here is the description. If there is any faulty English please let me know, I am not a native speaker.
    ...
    Bunny Balls
A not so mighty wizard cursed the little bunnies vegetables. Couldn't he pick some of one his own size? You can help the bunnies get their veggies back. Keep the sweet bunnies in the air moving the seesaw to catch all the vegetables. When the bunnies hit a veggie the spell breaks and it falls on the ground for the bunnies to eat.

A fun arcade style game. Try and catch hot pepper power ups to improve your seesaw. Hit multiple vegetables at once without hitting anything else to get bonus points.
XX levels of pure bunny excitement.
    ...

Here is the icon. Is this alright? Comments welcome! (Attach a file on the forum? Cool!!!)

From the start of the build I wanted this to work in Arcade. So I have made a copy and dropped the tables. Resized, did some other stuff like change the speed of actors and it works like a charm.
Next step is building levels so I can publish (iPad too). First I will make the boss levels. I have tested one and its pretty awesome game play wise.
I will post a video ASAP.

@LudwigHeijden I like the icon. How does it look on an iphone though? Maybe that bunny in the background won't be seen? Possibly change the border colour?

HTML5 games don't recognise tables? That would explain a lot...

No it doesn't. And it doesn't turn of sound, it doesn't change a sounds pitch, etc... @-)

For now the game will be iPad only. I have to test if it works on an iPhone first because you need very small fingers probably ;)

Ow please remind me to make a video ASAP. I have been polishing polishing polishing.
I will need beta testers soon too. Let me know if you are interested.

Here you go (your version was pretty good!). The first sentence is still a bit awkward for a native speaker, but I think it works okay. You could change it to something like “A wizard with dwindling power cursed the little bunnies’ vegetables.”

A video. I am showing 2 levels. A start level and an End Boss level.
    Comments more then welcome.

Sorry for the quality. At least no one will try and steal my artwork ;)

Nice concept...Why is it called Bunny Balls? There are no visible balls in this game. Bunny Bounce might be better. Or Bunny Bounce: Case of the Cursed Veggies.

    Looking good!

    Note: Title changed as requested.

@921creative Thanks for the input. Balls is just a word I hope people look for on the App Store. People like games with ball and bubbles.

Here is a new video this time with Music.

@FryingBaconStudios I think you like this: I made a system with short pieces of music in a sequence. Every ogg file is 2 seconds. I can trigger sequences at events and change the music on the beat without fading. I have a trigger when there are three vegetable hits left (1.10sec) and one when the end boss enters the scene (1.30sec). It works as good as flawless.

Thanks guys! I will make it free for the first period. Just a few tweaks and I will start building levels. Anyone interested in testing?

It looks like a fun throwback game (not as in throwing a fish back but as in Atari/NES).

The only thing I don't like is that the carrots are in front of the score text. It looks unfinished to have score/time/level interrupted visually like that.

It looks like its coming along very nicely. The only thing I would switch is the font... Make it more fun as the game is cartoony and fun. Otherwise, I really like the concept and it's looking very nice.

I finished the intro movie. Its only there to give a story to the game. The story is not of great importance in this game but its there to give it a little extra. I gave the character a voice of tones and balloons because I would like everyone to understand what he is ranting about, no matter what language you speak.
Sit back and enjoy for the next 28 seconds. :-B (Get popcorn if you are a fast eater)
