do i have to make a new provisioning profile and app id for updating my app

in iPhone and Android Publishing
i tryed without geting profiles and ids and it says in application loader the bundle is invalid. the key CFBundleversion in the info.plist file must contain a higher version than that of the previously uploaded version, ( I'm updating because my icon on the iphone appears blank and is white)

    make sure your using the same bundle string as your original version 1.0, you can see it in iTC. e.g. com.xxx.xxxxx
    And make sure in the GS publishing details you have version 1.1.
