Just got my hands on a Nexus7 and am keen to test my apps. I'm stuck at the very first hurdle. My questions:
1) I plug my device into my MAC. It doesn't mount - what now
2) How do I 'test' my app on it. e.g. get a 'file' of some build onto the device?
3) Once my app is published to google play. How do I get my finished app on my device - I noticed I can't purchase my own app.
Thankyou in advance for anyone who replies with useful advice.

You need to make sure the phone is set to accept USB connections..there should be a setting somewhere. Also you may need to set the phone to a debugging state.
You will need to install the GS viewer for Android (easy to download and install on the phone through a package installer - also a USB connection will be needed to do this).
Once installed and opened the viewer should appear in your Gamesalad window.
Can't purchase your own App?? Does not make sense. I can see and purchase mine thru the play store.

I have already published to googleplay (without testing - naughty naughty) and tried to buy my own app, and it said that I couldn't purchase my own apps. Annoying, but I can see their point. So I just need to be able to copy my .apk file to the device.
Hmm I have not been able to buy apps on Amazon without registering my device to their store but I have never had any problems with buying on Play. That would mean the device would have some connection to your Play developer account and that does not happen (or at least I have not done that).
