You only pay GST (or register for it) if you earn (or estimate to earn) over a certain amount per/annum. Last time I checked this was $20K but most likely different to that now.
im pretty sure its 75,000 for a gst and im guessing your australian, where do you apply for a abn, im only 16 so i'd need my dad to apply for it anyway because the dev account is in his name
Hi all,
I am also struggling to get my tax info set up. I have been scouring GS looking for answers so thought I'd bump this thread instead of starting a new one.
In the Tax Information section of iTunes Connect, there are three choices:
U.S. Tax FormsRequired for selling apps.
Australia Tax FormsRequired for developers based in Australia or registered for Australian GST.
Canada Tax FormsRequired for developers based in Canada or registered for Canadian GST/HST.
I am Australian, so does this mean I ONLY need to set up the Australian form? Its confusing because the first option says "for selling apps", and thats what I'll be doing...
I'd really appreciate the help! Thank you
