I already submitted my binary 5 days ago and it's not optimized for overscanning. I just need to know if apple accepts screenshots with black letterboxes or am I going to have to recreate the screenshots which I don't really want to do because it's time consuming. So, Apple will accept these?

    Thanks.

@8BitGrenade by default the setting will be letterbox, so not much to worry.

Apple will accept letter-boxing, but I highly recommend pushing out an update to your app with over scanning enabled. As others have said, use the tutorial from GSHelper - it is quick and easy to implement.

One of my apps had letterbox screenshots and I updated the app a few days ago, now my main screenshots on the iTunes store have been changed to the letterbox ones, and to be honest it looks terrible. I think it is driving away the iPhone Legacy users because they now think they will have black bars on their game.

I'd recommend going for overscan in your next update. I definitely will.
