Microsoft rolls out web based tool for making simple Apps

It doesn't solve the kinds of things Gamesalad does, but it is interesting as a concept. Surprisingly, it support the iPad/Safari to develop from:

    My first reaction is that the interface looks clunky and inelegant....but that is my first reaction to all MS stuff.
    I hope they keep refining it - there are going to be so many of these tools out there soon.

    It is pretty clunky, but it was designed work on a tablet without strong keyboard input. Everything seems harder after Gamesalad, maybe because I've learned to think in terms of how GS works.
