@TheGabfather thanks for the comment... I'm getting so engrossed in trying to acheive the kickstarter goal it takes some extra thought to imagine success and then being allowed to spend the time making the game.... it really would be so amazing to beable to spend the time to produce it... fingers severely crossed it all comes together....
just a few suggestions that I've seen from other kickstarter campaigns:
1. send out updates every 2-3 days. it can be new concept artwork, new additions to the 'prizes', new gameplay screens, mentions in the news, answers to questions. I find the more often it goes out, the more people talk / share about it.
2. have a gameplay video of anything you have done so far. Every kickstarter video game project I have backed has some real gameplay footage that makes you want to see more. I put some examples below:
