question about publishing and upgrade

hello, ive been away a long time, and just realized i need to upgrade from snow leopard to mountain lion. well my mac wont go any higher than lion it seems and now everyone is on mt lion as well as GS it seems, can i still publish games from lion on my mac or do i need to go buy a newer mac so i can upgrade everything to mt lion to publish my game?

Depending on how long ago you updated Xcode, you may have to download and update the latest version from Apple as well. As long as your Mac is a 2009 or newer model you should be in good shape (some earlier models such as the pre-2009 Mac Mini don't have the supported hardware for Lion).
