Android game won't run after Android update?

Hi, I have a customer reporting that while my game worked perfectly for a month on her Nexus 7, it has stopped starting since her Nexus updated itself. She still gets the initial splash screen, but gets dumped back to the home screen almost immediately.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Could it be that GS has already updated whatever is causing this under the hood and if I was to simply rebuild the game with the new publisher and republish to Google Play?
Any clues much appreciated - like I say, it's strange that the game has worked perfectly for a month already?
Cheers
Wayne

I am getting reports of the same problem. The app instantly closes on Nexus 7. I haven't even updated my apps with the new update yet.

    See this thread:

If your customer has updated to 4.2 they're out of luck - gamesalad isn't running on 4.2 and there's been no response from GS whatsoever about it since the bug was reported on the day of the 4.2 release.

Oh Rlly? Ok. So, other apps from non GS are reporting similar issues? I actually hope this is the case, so it will get me out of trouble with my customers! I've got people beating down my email door with Nexus issues!

hmm...it may also be a Google issue, because they even forgot to add December to People app! and some other blogs are reporting issues with other apps not running as well. Hold on for a bit and see if they release a patch update.
Do you have links to any of those blogs so we can test those other apps out?

While we're here, the subject of refunds has come up with a couple of customers - obviously, they don't want to pay for something that doesn't work!
So, does anyone know how to go about arranging a refund for a Google Play customer??
I know how unpossible it is to 'gift' an app to an Android customer; is it just as unpossible to refund them? Should they just approach Google Play themselves?
Any info much appreciate, I really don't know what to tell them!

Yeah this is hurting me..I'm losing many sales per day now. Getting many email about refunds and complaints. Read about the refund policy with google checkout/wallet.

I refunded a bunch yesterday via the:

    https://checkout.google.com/sell/orders

    Good luck.

Still no comment from GS then?

    Doesn't look like it :L

Thanks SSS - Soz, wasn't sure enough about it to report it as I don't have a Nexus. It's looking like there's a lot of 4.2 trouble on Google Play, not just GS. Many devs have put disclaimers at the start of their descriptions about specific issues they have with 4.2

If you haven't already, report these types of issues to support. Right now we have nothing in QA on this. Our QA manager is currently testing on Jelly Bean as we speak with no issue... so... obviously there is a disconnect somewhere.
It's been reported twice by me. 4.2 is still Jellybean, but thank you for finally saying GS does not support it after weeks of having no idea what's been going on.
