Hey I'm about to finish uploading my game for android but I have many questions about it.

1. Does android have an aproval process like apple and does it take 6 days or so to be approved...

2. Can I do a " hold until developer release" thing like apple has it...

3. When my app first goes to the android market is it on the top of the list for new apps like apple when you first do it...this is really important because I heard you have to promote your app before it comes out for apple the apple store and it can get buried quick...

Please give me some good tips I would really appreciate it...thanks...

android market does not have any approval process, you upload immediately and within the next few mins you can download your game off the market. but of course the ranking depends a lot on exposures.

@GLGames what i mean is when you first launch your app in the apple store you categorized as new therefore your on top of the list for a short time until weeks later when it gets buried my other new apps...does android have the same formula?

i only know the ranking is by the no. of downloads. thus why there was once pp found ways of doing multiple downloads of a particular app to make rise in ranking.

oh ok so when i put the on the android store for the first time it won't get any exposure by being a new app it just gets buried until i get more downloads...

how do i receives more exposure, is there a google service i can use on the play store?
