About a year ago I wrote on this very forum asking for help with creating a game for my step daughter, Angelina. Angelina is not like other 8 year olds, due to a mental impairment which her doctors have said places her mental abilities at that of a 4 year old. This means she has trouble with speech, coordination and concentration. About a year and a half ago I bought Angelina an iPad, and soon noticed that not only did she find it fun to use, but it also helped her develop her mental abilities as well. This gave me an idea to create an app in the Norwegian language specifically for her, and by extension other children like her with similar disabilities. I also believed that this game should be free (without ANY ads etc.), and the result after many months of work is 'Angelinas Verden' (http://www.angelinasverden.no).

I got that help from a very talented designer, that I now consider my friend, named Basil Murad. He did all the artwork for the game while I created the game with Gamesalad. I also got a soundstudio in Norway, named Snakehips, to help out with proffesional vocal recordings for the game. They did it for free.

Now I use the attention Angelinas Verden is gettting to try to raise money for her school. I want to give them a few iPads as a tool for interactiv learning and to help them use Angelinas Verden in their classes. The game is submitted to Apple for iOS (both iPhone and iPad), the game is also avail for Android and the web. The game is free as a gift to Angelina and other children like her, but also parents like her mother and my self. Since the game is in norwegian, the game is only avail in Norway at the moment for iOS and Android. But you all can check out the results at http://www.angelinasverden.no
