no icon in itunes, still having issue.

Ok so I had an app rejected for having a blank icon (yes I know, server side error, been fixed blah blah blah) ;)
So I tried completely republishing, created an adhoc provisioning profile so I could test on my device (seems like it's the only way to do it now?) still, there is no icon in iTunes. At least it will install and has an icon on the device, but itunes just displays the no icon xcode logo. Any advice? I pm'd @SaladStraightShooter 2x 5-6 days ago, but have had no reply. Any help would be much appreciated.

    @artfish I'm doing the same. Was your icon 1024 or 512? Mine was 1024. Could be the issue?

    @Doguz mine was 512 I believe.

    @Doguz - It sucks man. I was really wanting to have that app in the store on halloween. Oh well. 10 days Before apple responded from the review and told me it didn't have an icon. I should have known something was up when I didn't have an icon in itunes. Thought it was a fluke or something. I've sent emails to support a month ago about a different issue, never heard back from them. Sent a couple pms to @SaladStraightShooter as well. no reply. Starting to feel forgotten. As it stands, I can't get my app published. Pissing me off so bad. Going to try republishing one of my older projects again and see what happens. I wonder if something is just fucked in the project file. Wouldn't be the first time. It's really going to make me very sad if that's the case.

    Well I don't think it's your fault. or mine or anyone elses. There are quite a few of us having this issue. I really wish they'd revert back to the old way of publishing. I never had a problem doing it that way. This new web publishing system is just buggy. I never seem to know when or where to click something and never know what stage it's up to. I click and just sit there staring at the screen. Sometimes a notification pops up saying it's ready for the next step, other times the sign app button just lights up with no message. What do i do??

    And then half the time the app can't find any provisioning profiles that are very much loaded. I need to log out and log in and start all over so it resets itself.

    BOO for the new way. I like it without a browser screwing it all up. Keep it within the GS creator App please.

    I've just synced the app to my iPad and an icon shows. ???? So its just within iTunes that it doesn't show for me. So the icon data is getting packaged up with the .app file. But iTunes can't read it.

    Does this sound like a problem that can be traced and fixed Gamesalad?

    @artfish can you confirm that an icon can be synced to your iPad, but not in iTunes?

    have either of you tried with a 1024 icon? that's required for itunesconnect now, maybe that is why it's not working?

    I've tried 1024 and 512 icons. The same result. Blank icon in iTunes.

    You will get blank icons for Adhoc builds in iTunes. Once published and released it will display correctly. I have had this error with 0.10 since released and published one updated app successfully.

    Ignore it you should and progress you will.

    @Doguz I think I figured out what was causing my problem. I had not updated my Xcode to the newest version. It seems after I did that, It fixed it. ;) Even if that was not the problem, It is working now.
