how to make into a .app

Hi everyone I just have the one question, actually it might be more than one. On mac when you click publish and fill out the bit of information etc. When finished does that create the .App that you then can test(testflightapps) or is there another means of getting the .app. Also you don't havetoupllad to apple straight away do you or is that also incorrect?

After hitting generate you click on sign app. You sign the app with your apple dev account and then you can upload that file to testflightapp.
when you are ready you do the same process but use a different profile and upload that.

There are very detailed instructions in the cookbook, I suggest you take a look.
