I assume you are on a Mac. Open the console and search for gamesalad. Paste what you see it will tell you what went wrong.

Do a search in the forum for that error - there are many methods to try to fix it. Usually binary titles are not the same or dev certificates/prov files are not installed properly.

I had this same problem today, and I have not had it in the past. Hopefully my experience can help someone. My certificates had expired so I had to re-create them. It is SO much easier to get the certificates set up now because I just let xcode do it. In the organizer I just went to the TEAMS section and hit refresh in the bottom right corner. It asked for my sign-in information and then it did all the certificates for me, just had to keep clicking on the affirmative messages on the alerts that popped up.

So then I went to sign my app and got the dreaded "The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.gendaigames.GameSalad error 3.)" message. I came here searching around, then I remembered seeing a post on Stack Overflow about old certificates causing problems. I went in to the keychain and exported/backed-up the old expired certificates (someone recommended always keeping copies of old certificates), then I deleted them (the expired ones I had backed up) from the keychain. After this, the app signing worked correctly. I guess GameSalad looks at the same Certificates as before to code sign even though they are expired and once I removed the expired one, GameSalad had to find the new active ones.

I hope this helps some people it was frustrating for me to get this error.
