OK. Many people are confused, including me, on which appstore makes better profit/money. The answer is not direct. the apple app store is definitely a better place to make money but it is not so simple. For newbies , like me, getting recognised on either app stores is difficult. So i got some info from my dad who has lots of experience on either app stores
Apple app store- The situation here is that there are over 600000+ apps. On top of that, you have to compete with brans like ea and gameloft. You can still earn a few bucks a day with paid apps as the sit. is not so bad...
Google play- The situation here is chaotic! The other day on my s3, i was searching through top sport games only to find 2 of the top 15 apps of sport game were porn. I wonder why google dont control the apps or not allow these apps. On top of that, all these crap apps have made people in the android world very suspicious, thus not making them wiling to buy apps, thinking they may be scamm apps or virus apps. However working your way to the top is much easier than in apple app store due to larger consumer base. My dad has 13 apps there and make money in 4-5 digits weekly/monthly.
So the better option is kindle or nook. Maybe the windows marketplace is also a good choice as there are very few apps there, making it easier to get recognised.
