Hi guys Iam a longtime lurker here, Iam not a developer I just love games and I try out most games in the arcade before I buy and some I buy because they just look good. I probably have brought 20-25 gamesalad games over 2 years and platformers like cheeseman and gameguy are just awesome. So when I saw this game I just pressed the buy button.
Look this is the first time I ever felt like I was conned. Each level is like 30-40 seconds long and there is only 5 levels. After all the fun and addictive gamesalad games I ever played this is the first time I have been disappointed. The game was glitchy and needs some serious polish. Iam sorry but this is the first time I have ever been disappointed by a gamesalad game. There are some games that didnt live up to the hype but were at least decent. I felt this was a con job and had to report it. Thanks for your time guys and keep making those great games you guys make!!

    Moderators,

Can you please remove the above post. Obviously this is a hater/stalker that doesn't want my game to do well. This is also his only post.

    JasonGamer,

    1. If you think the game is bad, why didn't you leave a review in iTunes . Ive checked and there aren't any reviews from you.

    2. If you bothered to check the category the game is listed under, you would notice its under "Kids"!

If you want to hate, and stalk us do it on twitter. There you will find plenty of fans that will be happy to deal with haters like you. @Krehol_Games

I checked out your game here

    http://www.appannie.com/app/ios/doodles-venture/ranking/#view=ranks&date=2012-11-29

Even when you went free , your game didnt rank but 1 day. That shows the quality of your game is bad when copies cannot move , when you cant rank even if your free. I also saw your highest ranking under grossing in U.S. was 900 which means you sold 4-6 copies tops.Maybe need to focus on making better games!!

Serious guys wt*! Keep your words for your own great accomplishments.. This guy has a couple of games on the Apple AppStore! Don't mess with the kid who works with Apple! \m/
    ;)
You get to ride a dinosaur in your game, that's epic! Nice one man!

Man, ignore this feedback, although it is feedback and should be considered, you have a cool game that made it on the app store, I have yet to do this so well done and good luck with further games, :)

This feedback does not represent a good community that were know

  • I think the GS community is great, but this doesnt mean one shouldnt criticise where its due. I went to the game's app page, and that looked fine, but then i saw other games by krehol games, he has games such as "iHalo" with master chiefs picture in the images, plus his other game is "Call to Duty" and on top of that he has priced these games at 9.99 dollars. Now that is one heck of a scam, luring call of duty and Halo lovers (which are huge in number) to buy these games as the buyers would think its a mobile halo or COD game. Imagine yourself buying his call to duty and ihalo games expecting a spectacular game at 10 dollars only to get a bad game. I once bought Counter Strike on the appstore as it had pics of counter strike in its images but it turned out to be a fake game with pathetic graphics sound and gameplay.

    Whats your take on this?

I would never charge $9.99 for any game salad game. Thats really way too much. I am sure the buyers are hitting up apple for a refund though. Which means he is going to owe apple at the end of the month. Ihalo, really dude?

Thanks everyone wants to see your games improve in quality thats what gamesalad is all about. But doodle venture was just not the type of quality you should aspire to have. Iam sure many people would be willing to help you build a better game, if that is the goal you have. By your 1st response you seem defensive and ready to call one comment a stalker which is not rational and doesnt make sense.

Hmm interesting! What I have walked into here....its like a street fight!

I think all the opinions expressed are clearly valid.
I really wonder how these apps (call to duty etc.) get approved by Apple.
  • yemiyemi Member Posts: 13
No its no where near a street fight or debate. The developer hasn't responded again meaning he knows he has already got caught. Everyone was just stating the obvious and doing it with respect to the gamesalad forum. Like I said the developer hasnt responded again , so it means he admits guilt.

Thanks for the replys guys. However this guy Yemi and Jason Gamer has been following us all over the internet, and has done the same to many others at the touch arcade community. The story of this guy goes deeper than I would like to get into. Its one thing to say you dont like the game, thats fine, however when you state that you were conned then its obvious you are out to slander. Nothing in the description led you to believe it was more than what was offered. Its sad when someone says they were conned out of .99. Really? people spend more than that in vending machines. if you cant afford .99 then you need to take a hard look at your priorities. If you dont like the games Krehol Games offers, simply dont buy them. Yemi/Jason (same person) its sad enough you will not move on with your life, but its even sadder that you've resulted to hating! Pathetic.. smh. ( FYI- my next title will be a castlevania type game) Happy Holiday's!

All this advice and you listened to none any of it. Well if you continue to make games like this , you will not sell any copies. As far as your other lies about following you its non-sense. Grow-up already!!

Graphically there looks nothing wrong with it .. Other than you didnt implement custom font. If tis true you are only have 5 short levels and you are charging for it, then I think people are within their rights to say they feel conned! Sure its only $0.99 but thats not the point here!

Thankyou!! It doesnt matter if its a 99 cent game it should be of greater quality , not 5 levels with 3 screens each!!

In reading this I have to wonder what Bungie (makers of Halo) and Activision (makers of COD) would have to say if they knew their property was being used without compensation?

In reading the reviews in the app store, looking at the graphics. Overall, I have to say these just don't live up to the descriptions given. In looking at the developer website (twitter page) the promotions don't stop. "Most exciting bird game since Angry Birds."

iHalo (in description) - "VenomEmb - 'This game is probably better than Halo'."
iHalo (in review) - "nonsense - don't even bother to download." 5 users 1 stared out of 9.

Call 2 Duty - 7 ratings none above 2 stars. "Not worth free llet alone money."

Fly Birds - reviews are half and half and extreme opposites. Either 1 star or 5 star.

Going through the reviews some consistently high reviewers were the same people. Plausible a person would purchase more than one game and like it. But, the developer would announce an update and give a high 5 star vote to the game.

Either way someone sees this my opinion is that the games in question are very close to a legal issue unless the developer had permission to use the artwork, likeness, or trademarks. I know titles cannot be copyrighted, but they can be registered trademarks.

My advice. Be careful with using other peoples art or trademarks, eventually it can catch up and you don't want that kind of trouble. All it takes today is one email and you can be in a world of hurt.
Pay attention to your customers reviews.
