does Apple check if your app's images/sounds/fonts are not infringing on someone else's copyright?

I'm 95% done with the game I'm working on. I've create all the images and sound fx, and I own the original music in it. When I submit it to the App store, will Apple ask me to prove I own/created these assets?
I just want to be as prepared as possible to avoid any delays.

thanks

Nope, they wont ask, but you can say in your credits, (which Im sure you have) art and designs by kangavark, so that should cover you. :-)

    thanks @SearleSama
let's say i don't have a Credits scene in the game (I'll have one in the supporting web page) will they get suspicious and investigate?

sorry for the noobish questions, this is my very first game, and I'm worried that I'm forgetting something that will delay its release.

You'll be fine with that. If you got nothing to hide then there are no worries. I'd still recommend having a place in your actual app that has your name. You dont want to put out an app that has no creditability. That wont stop your submission from approving but as a general rule you should put your name on it somewhere.

Good luck! the first game is thrilling and nerve-racking at the same time. It'll be a great experience for you and you'll be dying to make your next one.

One word of advice, if your game doesn't work on old devices make sure you mention that in the meta description like at the top. People will destroy you with bad reviews. Even if its just slow on older devices make sure you mention that too. That way if they do rate you badly you can dispute their review with apple and get it removed since they were warned before buying. Apple works pretty will with you on rude reviewers.

    cheers bro!
