Armv7 Check or not to check?

What does armv7 mean and do i check armv7 if i want my game to be playable on the iphone 5?

    It's the processor. You don't have to check it, it will work on the iPhone 5. You only check it if you know your game wont work well on an older device, because ARMv7 will make your game for iPhone 3GS and newer only. (And iPod devices that use the ARMv7 processor) Older devices wont even be able to download your game.

    Oh right, i just wanted to know because i have had some problems with load & saving highscores, just thought not checking the armv7 might have had something to do with it. :( Thanks. :)
