I am about to start looking at publishing to Nook. Can anyone point me to a good tutorial or info on it related to GS publishing and Nook?
Any Nook related advice is welcome.
Do I need to install the Nook SDK on my Mac is the second question I have.

Don't worry about eclipse. We just use ADB.
the basics you need to follow from that doc are:
-get the SDK
-provision your nook (thats on the site too)
-build your app
-use ADB to load it, and when you want to load a new version, unload it with ADB
-Oh and do the secret weird code...go on the Applications screen of the nook, hold the up volume button, and tap the "library" graphic. That puts you in the dev screen
Once you get it unlocked, it's a very easy thing to get a build on.
but I know people that just rooted it because they were so frustrated. -
Chobbiface Posts: 491haha cool thanks for the info @lycettebros I've been putting it off as it seemed a hassle, but I'm going to call him from the UK tomorrow, 3am in the morning and freak him out! (I will tell him the Australian guy (or woman?) sent me.

I registered years ago to be a Nook developer. Went through the application procedure but never received a confirmation email (which was promised) from them - so assumed I was rejected. Suddenly an email comes today because I am a registered Nook developer!!
I got the tax ID by using the application form (Apple has a link and I guess Nook does too). I then had to ring the IRS to confirm the document etc. and then it came in the mail to me. It was easier than I thought.
When I rang the tax IRS guy in the US from Australia I freaked him out!!
