Please play in Chrome as it is the only version with full working Audio and Sound effects. Adam Marks worked so hard on them, and they are hillarious. Also you can ctrl + zoom the browser to enlarge the game. We designed at Ipad reso in Portrait so obviously there are squashing isssues in the Arcade, but It's still pretty f*cking fun and funny.

This was done for our IGDA Chicago 24 hour gamejam this weekend. We started at 8 am. I made this with 3 complete strangers and basically showed coders how to use Gamesalad. Once they got the basics, they flew with it. Plays awesome on iPad.

The theme of the gamejam was, the goal is to lose. We all collaborated on the design. Zachary Cassity and Marvin Hawkins did most of the Gamesalad programming, I did all of the art (about 150 different graphics in all) and Adam Marks dir the original audio track and sound effects. You are losing elves to defend the North Pole and Save Christmas. ;)

It kind of plays like a tower defense game. Select your elf move him into position to prevent the aliens from getting past. Try to collect bombs and take them to the mother ship at the top. Let too many aliens get by and Santa will RAGE!!!
w,a,s,d to move and mouse click to select.

Enjoy!

Why was I so amused just watching everybody explode? I'd love to see this with more ways to suicide the elf.

I know! I still can't stop laughing at that animation when I play it. I might have to add some more death scenes just on principal! I would love to hear more thoughts on the game from people ;) Ran into so many frustrations working with GS it was crazy. It works so well for some things, and horrible for others. Overall, I think with some more time and feature implementation, GS is going to be pretty amazing. (One can do some very cool stuff with it already!)
