Android publishing- resolution independence checked with iPhone setting?

Hey all!! I was wondering if you wanted to use iPhone settings for Android publishing as FryingBacon suggesting in his video, do you check resolution independence or not? If not-Do you have to insert basic sized assets in replacement of RI( double the size images) when publishing. I apologize in advance if I didn't word this correctly.

Yes without RI you need regular size but if you already have a project with RI just publish it to android and GS will spit it out as it would for ios devices without retina. For non retina you images need to be divisible by two instead of four.
